Cooking

I love cooking. Not that I get to do it alot though.

I want to learn how to cook, but then everytime I come down to help, mom finished cooking already.I don't think helping her will do any good. She does all the cooking but I do the washing and cutting of food. Not fun,not fun at all.

I think I'll stick to cooking instant noodles.Maybe I'll get some instant ramen in-a-cup.Yay.

Oh my god I did not know there was such a place called Naruto. It's in Japan!!!

'Recurring whirlpools known as the Naruto whirlpools are located below the bridge, caused by tidal currents between the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean passing over undersea ridges under the Span, causing very strong eddy currents, some of which make large, deep whirlpools.'

Did you know Uzumaki,Naruto's surname, means Spiral? That's why the back of his outfit has a spiral :

Plus did you know, the swirly pink and red thing seen in Naruto's ramen, supposedly a fishcake,is called Narutomaki?

Wow something new learnt today. It all makes sense now.But I would've known about it earlier if I knew how to speak Japanese :)

Decisions

Was homeschooling really a good decision made for us?

For this question,I must say a yes.If it weren't for our homeschooling,I wouldn't even know it existed. It is a new way of experiencing new things, places, and cultures.

If we hadn't chose to homeschool,we wouldn't have bought a laptop for me.And without my laptop,I wouldn't have started watching Naruto.Since Naruto is an anime, from a Japanese culture,I wouldn't have taken interest in it if I didn't start watching it sooner or later.

With my interests only in Japanese culture,my enthusiasm in learning new things increases. Now I have learnt a couple of Japanese katakana and hirigana words. If I hadn't moved out to Malaysia to homeschool,I wouldn't even be here. Thus,I wouldn't have this laptop, what more,I wouldn't even be tapping my foot to this Japanese song I'm listening to right now.

Did I inform you, that before we moved out,my hamster died?My conclusion would be that he didn't want to move out with us. But if we hadn't chose to,he probably wouldn't have died. But then,I wouldn't have experienced the loss of something precious for the first time.

But,I couldn't be any freer. After everything, like chores and studies,I'm still allowed to be playing my laptop.I usually chat on with my friends on Facebook. They're always complaining about how much homework they have, and with the exams coming up,their stack of stress in life just keeps piling up.Here I am,just listening to their complains, without any worry about homework, sometimes helping them with questions that are hard to answer,at times I'm leisurely playing games,I think I truly understand the meaning of gratefulness.Like I said,I couldn't be any freer.

What more,I have quality time with family! Now that is something really important. Some kids complain that they hardly see their parents, some suffer because they don't even have one. Some aren't really close together as a family.

God has given us blessing, sometimes through events that we definitely didn't expect them to come from.Though whatever,we still should be grateful.Even if it was choosing to school in public or to homeschool.Although about the latter,I think it was how we actually learnt about being grateful.Like how I learnt the word 'latter' just from watching Naruto. To be honest,I seriously love my life. :)

Farmers -_-

When I grow up I would like to be a farmer yay the end.

................

The topic is supposed to be about 'farmers' since my sister has no other idea for the topic. But I have no idea what we're supposed to be talking about I'll just make up my own.

To be honest I would like to live a farmer's life. With all those farm animals.I wouldn't mind doing all the chores since it'll be fun anyway. So of course one main animal would be the cow.Every morning we'd wake-up and after washing ourselves up we go to the cow barn where all the cows are mooing. Then we'd bring it outside where they can eat fresh, green grass. After eating we bring them back into the barn for milking. In this case we are not modern. We don't have those automatic machines that can milk cows for us.Therefore we are doing it with our hands,my siblings and I.

I'll obviously have chickens. With their little chicks running around chirping merrily.I have an image in my head on how it kind of looks like.

The hens are in a chicken coop sitting on their eggs. The cockerel will be entertaining its chicks. Those baby ones, kay? Then I'm in a farmer suit coming in with their seeds in a metal bucket that I'm holding. My little brother will be there as well, collecting the eggs.So the result of not being careful the hens goes chasing him, trying to peck him. While he's being chased I do his job for him.We share chores, only it's alternate every two days. Then when we're done we call in my sister forcing her to hold one of the baby chicks.I think she'd dare to since she did it before a long time ago.

Then I'm hoping we have horses. We'd go to the horse stable where all the horses are,and bring along some hay. After feeding them we groom them. Then each of us has our own horse.Kakak too,if she wants to,of course.Didi's would be black,Niq's would be brown.Mine would be either white or brown. They're both pretty colours.Make it every Sunday we give them a bath. After grooming,we get to ride them. They have a big spacey place for the horses to walk around, maybe even trot.Gallop,too.I'd name my horse 'Uma-san'.It means Mister Horse.Or 'Kakeru'.It means 'gallop'.Or maybe name it after one of the Naruto characters haha.

I'll even have a rabbit farm!That will be cool.But I'd rather have just one.And I'll name it 'Usagi-san'.It means Mister Rabbit.Or just 'Chibi'.It means 'little'.Or I'd have a kitten!That tries to help around the house!Yeah!I'll name it Kawaii!Maybe I'll...sorry I rambled.

So now I'm wondering if I lived in a farm, would I have any computers or any type technology in the house? If I didn't,I wouldn't mind.If I did, who's going to take care of the animals?Either way,it's fine with me. :) Sayonaraaa

Money Money Money.It's so funny.

'Money is the root of all evil'

The question is,'Do you agree?'

Well,it is true that money can bring conflict to some people.Only if they're not careful.

And sometimes with money, they think they have power, and with power they become arrogant, and so therefore you kind of turn into evil.Kind of.

Although this doesn't really happen to everyone. To some who get blessings through money, they may become more grateful to God,and maybe realise how lucky they are to have such life.So therefore God might give them more blessings.

For those who are rich, for some who are generous enough to start charities for the disabled, orphans, homeless people and all those people in need. And with money you can do good deeds as well.

To make things short,I disagree.Money isn't a living thing that can eliminate human beings from being their true, pure self. But,it can make someone go crazy. What makes money so 'evil' is our intention in how we're going to use it.

'You look so innocent,so full of good intent'

Yes I got that from King Of Anything. But I don't think it had anything to do with the topic of the day.

I must say, this is the shortest essay I have ever written.I was listening to some Japanese music while I was writing.Thousand apologies. :3 Sayonara!

Do we really need Music in our life?

This is supposed to be an essay regarding on whether we need music in life.My sister came up with topic.I myself do not know whether she will be able to live without it.

I mean, without music there would not be any need for singing.Without any singing there would not have the need of singing competitions such as American Idol.So therefore my sister would not have a guy to fall in love with.Yes,I am talking about David Archuleta.

Well for me,I find music very entertaining. In fact,I am listening to one now.A Japanese song, more likely.I enjoy songs sung in English as well.It is easier since you do not have to translate the lyrics to understand them.Fortunately for me,there are such videos in Youtube that has already been translated.I got these Japanese songs from the theme songs for Japanese Animation.Or,'anime' for short. So after experiencing new things from the next episode, they change songs as the episodes move on.After I have learned what was going on in the season,I know why they have chosen that song as theme songs;they mean something, something that has got to do with those episodes.

As far as I know, there are two reasons why people enjoy music. One,they mean something to them, something they can relate to in life. There are sad songs, when you are in a difficult situation, love songs,to show how much you love someone, slow, peaceful songs that you think calms you,and songs that make you feel only the song understands the situation you are in,and nobody else understands you.Depressed,if you ask me.

And two,it has a nice rhythm, that brings an uplifting feeling that makes you want to tap your foot, clap your hands,or nod your head in sync with the rhythm it gives.Or maybe even dance along to it.

And it depends on what kind of genre it is in.Hard Metal, for those who like loud, banging music.Pop,for people who prefer nice and simple music.Plus much more that I am not really sure about.

Some music are used to elaborate the situation. When something sad happens, the background song turns slow. Some are used to describe the person's personality.A cool,laid-back kind of guy enters the screen and the music changes into slow and sweet. When it comes to someone who is ever-ready and never gives up or has just given inspiration to others, the song changes as if someone is getting ready for action.Again yes I am talking about Naruto,an anime I watch.Wish I could link it,but my annoying big brother said no.

To me,a Jason Mraz song is a song for reggae.I mean, those peaceful songs, for peaceful people.

Some people listen to music when they're bored.

For me,I like songs with meaning and those with a nice rhythm.Usually,my favourite genre is Pop.Sometimes Pop-rock.My brother likes fast songs.Sometimes slow, emotional songs. My sister likes Pop.I guess.Niq likes Pop as well, since David Archuleta's songs are the only ones he knows.Well I think so.

So I think music is a good aspect in life, since it is also a way to learn other cultures. And this is my answer. It is also for the sake of my music not being taken away from me!

zzzzz XD

Growing Pain

The topic is about me,growing up into a teenager someday. And about what I think of it.

The appropriate age to be calling myself a teenager would be 13.And I'm just 11.And turning 12 in 2 months time.So this will be about thinking into the future. How will I look like?Forget 13,I'm thinking about 16!Yes this is because I watch Naruto, and he left at the age of 13,and came back 3 years later,at the age of 16.And his facial appearance has changed abit.He looks...older.And more mature. But then you find out he hasn't really matured much.Cos of...oh well.

But I don't think I'll change at all.I mean I'm a girl,he's a boy.And most of the girls in Naruto didn't seem to change much.So,yeah.No point really.But I'll wonder how much taller I'll grow! :D

And maybe how much I'll mature :/

Grow taller?Definitely.Grow mature?Just maybe not.Well at least I think I won't mature much.

I don't know really. Then I'll just wait and see!I wonder if I've gotten out of my old habits. What if I got way more dumb then ever?Oh no.Not good.Gahh.I wonder if my Japanese got any better.

OH GOD I ALMOST FORGOT.WHAT IF I'VE ALREADY BEEN TO JAPAN????YES I KNOW MY SISTER WENT AT THE AGE OF 18.BUT JUST WHAT IF??OH HAHAH THANK YOU I'VE JUST GOT EXCITED.OMG.

Wow Japan! And I could get some cosplay (costume play) outfits for Niq!If he still wants it of course. He's been asking mom to get him some orange pants that matches with Naruto's.

And I would love to try some RAMEN.I mean only halal ones of course. If there are any in Japan...I've seen Naruto eat ramen.Looks pretty.

Okay this is one full bowl.It was 'on the house'.

Okay this is the Ramen Bar.Soooo cool.I like.

Oh and one thing I found out during research.

"Miso is a part of many Japanese-style meals. It most commonly appears as the main ingredient of miso soup, which is eaten daily by much of the Japanese population."

And Naruto, being a big fan of ramen, eats them everyday. And I thought it was weird -_-

And he keeps talking about Miso Ramen.I had no idea what it was lol.

And I'll try some tempura if I can.Yay.And some real Japanese-made sushi.I wonder if there are halal ones.

And I'll probably get my mom and sister some seaweed haha.

And I'll try some saké. Hehehe like if you know what it is lol. Then I'll have the 'Drunken Fist' technique.YAY.ROCK LEEEE!

And I'll visit the Music store.CHAA!!HEHEHEHE.

Lol this is supposed to be about me growing up.But I'll keep rambling about Japan anyways.

EH WAIT.I FOUND SOMETHING ABOUT saké THAT JUST MIGHT CHANGE EVERYTHING.HOLD ON.

'Sake is also referred to in English as a form of rice wine. However, unlike true wine, in which alcohol is produced by fermenting the sugar naturally present in fruit, sake is made through a brewing process more like that of beer. To make beer or sake, the sugar needed to produce alcohol must first be converted from starch.'

Actually I don't get it lol o.O

But I saw 'rice wine' and KABOOM.I got excited haha.I don't get it.Someone translate it for me please.

Eh wait more information.

'But the brewing process for sake differs from beer brewing as well, notably in that for beer, the conversion of starch to sugar and sugar to alcohol occurs in two discrete steps, but with sake they occur simultaneously. Additionally, alcohol content also differs between sake, wine, and beer. Wine generally contains 9–16% alcohol and most beer is 3–9%, whereas undiluted sake is 18–20% alcohol, although this is often lowered to around 15% by diluting the sake with water prior to bottling'

OH MY GOSHHH.I still don't get it. -_-

Bleah I don't know lahh.Ah whateverrr lah.

Okay I read another section and they said they add alcohol. -_- Oh well.

GAH.I FOUND ANOTHER SECTION THAT SHOWED SOME SAKE-S WITHOUT USING ALCOHOL!!Some of them would be:

Junmai-shu (Pure rice)
Junmai Ginjō-shu ( Pure rice, Special brew)
Tokubetu Junmai-shu (Special Pure rice)

YAY HAHHA.I FINALLY GET THIS.

And I'll look at kimonos sold there.I don't like those geisha make-up.Pretty scary if you ask me o.O

And I'll visit some cherry blossoms.Sakura,to be exact.

Gah I think I'm done.And if I forgot anything I'll edit lol.Sayonara.Heiwa. :3

Pfft.I like making my own topics.

"Values are the principles and beliefs that guide your life... Honesty, integrity, respect, tolerance, kindness, solidarity, fairness, courage and peace are some of the universal ones." What values will you choose or have already chosen to live by/for?
Okay that is the topic of the day here. And it is by Mr David Archuleta. My sister picked it of course -_-

I somehow get this.I think because it has something to do with Naruto. With how he shows Gaara that he gets his strength from wanting to fight for others, and not to fight for one's self only.

But honestly I don't really know how to answer.

'Honesty, integrity, respect, tolerance, kindness, solidarity, fairness, courage and peace.' Seriously we need all these in life, don't we? :/

We need to be honest in life or we might not be trusted by others. And when we're not trusted, there's no respect. If there's no respect, there's no kindness. And then if you don't get any kindness, you think it's not fair for yourself. Then you can't tolerate it anymore. And then you want peace, and try to make solidarity with others, but you don't have the courage to do it.So later you wish you had more integrity in your life.

So I guess this is what happens to people who lie.But I'm not really sure which is the 'must' values we need in life.

I mean,if we're honest people will like us and life would be much easier with all these people around helping us.And if we respect others, they would respect us as well. And if we can tolerate all that bad stuff around us and keep our cool,we won't panic and make the situation worse. And being kind to others will do us the same. And if we try to make solidarity with others,we would make more friends, hence life would be easier. And if we're fair to every different person, everyone would more likely start to like you.And when we have the courage to do whatever,we would be able to do anything. And if we were in peace with others it would be more easier for us since there wouldn't be any friendship problems.

I find this question really hard, and I'd rather skip it than minus marks.[Lol I guess that means I'd rather get a zero than a negative one.]

So in other words I'm not answering this question.Rather like, telling you why I didn't answer.

And I don't want to write more.My lips are dry,my nose is cracking. And I'm hungry.I guess I lost a couple of kilos since I got sick.Didi said my sister is obsessed with trying to lose weight lol.

Alot of my friends are sick nowadays. But good thing this sickness of mine isn't that bad since I can still walk around.I mean, hop around.Hop around, hop around.Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh.Lalalalalallamaaaaa.

I heard when you're sick you have to drink tons of water.I just realised I had none yesterday.

I think I'm done.I want to drink tons of water then go to the toilet.Aww that's gonna be tough.Okay Sayonara!

Lol Neji Makan Cili Abeh Mati.Eh Di I show you that someday. :3

Sweet Sixteen.Aiyo.

Yep it's my big brother's birthday today.He's turning 16.Oops sorry.He turned 16 this morning.Had delicious breakfast.Murtabak-Maggi-Mee.Weird,but still yummy.

They say we're going to Pizza Hut.I'm going to expect cheese since he's a big fan of them.Me too! :D

I like sushi.I don't know why my siblings got mad when I said that lol.I've liked sushi even before I started liking Japanese stuff.

Lol for my birthday this year why don't we go for RAMEN.There's one right in front of the sushi shop I guess.Meh.I think they're not halal.Sushi lorr.

zzzzzzzzz I'm lazy to write more in fact.Today is a special day.So studies will finish abit sooner than usual.Which is a good thing,of course.Yay.

I wonder if Didi wants cake since he's with all that 'anti-fats' thingy.

We have a new nickname for Cantik. And since I just told my mom about the culture of Japan,in how they're supposed to address each other.

Chan

Chan (ちゃん?) is a diminutive suffix; it expresses that the speaker finds a person endearing. Thus, using chan with a superior's name would be condescending and rude. In general, chan is used for babies, young children, and teenage girls. It may also be used towards cute animals, lovers, close friends, or any youthful woman.

Example,Sakura-chan.

Kun

Kun (君【くん】?) is used by persons of senior status in addressing or referring to those of junior status, or by anyone when addressing or referring to male children or male teenagers. It can also be used by females when addressing a male that they are emotionally attached to or have known for a long period of time. Although kun is generally used for boys, that is not a hard rule. For example, in business settings, young female employees may also be addressed as kun by older males of senior status.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzz I DID ALL THIS THEN THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD A TOPIC.ZZZZZZZZ K LA I GO MAKE NEW ONE LAH.ZZZZZ PFFT
